OXIDE

Add this oxide to pure cement to create shaded concrete, mortar, grout or render. Make lighter shades by adding smaller amounts of oxide.

Oxide should be added by volume not weight and the amount of oxide used depends on the amount of cement in your mix, not on the other elements of the mix such as sand or aggregate - see package for further instructions.

Iron oxide pigment becomes firmly integrated in the concrete and is weather resistant, alkaline resistant, ecologically benign and economical to use.
