Vented Batten VB20

Details

The Ventilated Batten – VB20 is a strong, durable roof and wall cavity batten. It is designed to ensure unimpeded airflow through the roof cavity of cathedral roof designs, enabling 16,000mm² per linear metre of airflow throughout the entire roof cavity.

The VB20 is designed with 4mm evenly spaced openings specifically sized to prohibit large insects gaining access but wide enough to prevent capillary action. 

The VB20 is easy to install and comes with an adhesive underside to allow temporary fixture to metal or timber framing or battens before permanent fixings such as nails or screw are applied.

The design of this ventilated batten allows easy reduction to create a 15mm or 10mm cavity batten. For every 5mm reduced the airflow rate will reduce by 4,000mm² per linear metre.

The VB20 should be used in conjunction with other specified ProctorVent products to create a calculated, continuous and unimpeded airflow system.
